    Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, a Maharatna enterprise under the Ministry of Power, has published an Apprentice recruitment notification for the recruitment of 127 nos. apprentice in different disciplines/trades. The Power Grid Corporation of India invites online applications from promising, energetic, and bright candidates for Apprenticeship for the one-year duration for North Eastern Region in trades mentioned below.  Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on or before 20th August 2021. The details like Name of Posts, Vacancies, Educational Qualifications, and Eligibility criteria, and the application process, etc. are mentioned below:

Trade vacancies:

i) ITI (Electrical)

ii) Diploma (Electrical)

iii) Diploma (Civil)

iv) Graduate (Electrical)

vi) Graduate (Computer Science)

vii) HR Executive (Payroll and Employee Data Management)

Educational Qualifications:

      i) Graduate posts, candidates must have passed 4 years course full-time course in B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg.) in respective disciplines from recognized universities/institutions.

    ii) HR Executives candidates must have passed 2 years full-time course in MBA (HR) / MSW / Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Personnel Management & Industrial Relation from recognized university/institutions.

    iii) Diploma posts candidates must have passed 3 years full-time course in respective Diploma Engineering from AICTE recognized colleges/institutions.

    iv) ITI post must have passed full-time Electrical course in ITI for recognized institutions.

Reservations:

      The reservation for SC/ST/OBC in the apprenticeship training is as per the Apprenticeship Act-1961.

Selection Procedure: 

    Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification form appliable to the respective trade.

Eligibility Criteria:

    Candidates who possess educational qualifications as mentioned and passed within two years from the closing date of application, and are medically fit as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961 are eligible to apply for apprenticeship in Powergrid.
