Jonaki Times: The Education Department, Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar has published a recruitment notification to recruit in the vacant posts of Assistant Teacher (LP) and Assistant Teacher (UP) in the schools of BT area. Name of Posts: Assistant Teacher (LP):

Total Number of posts: 347  (Kokrajhar-103, Chiang - 21, Baska - 140, Udalguri - 83)

Name of posts: Assistant Teacher (UP):

Total Number of posts: 80  (Kokrajhar - 24, Chirang - 13, Baska - 19, Udalguri - 24)

Pay Scale: (PB-2) @Rs. 14000/- to 60500/- and other provisions are as per government rule.

Educational Qualifications: LP:

Higher secondary pass with 2 years of professional qualification from recognized institutions and Assam TET/ BTC TET pass conducted by Education Department, Assam.

Education Qualifications: UP:

Graduation with 2 years professional qualifications from recognized institutions/universities and Assam TET/BTC TET pass conducted by Education Department, Assam.

Age Limit: 

As on 1st January 2020, Minimum age 18 years  and maximum  40 years for the general category. For the reserved category, age upper relaxation is there as per government norms. i.e. 42 years Ex-Servicemen, 43 years OBC/MOBC, 45 years  SC/ST and 50 years for PWD candidates.

For online application, submission visits the official website of the Directorate of Education, BTC http://www.debtc.in. Then Click on 'APPLY NOW' . Fillup the Applicant Name, Mobile Number, Password in the Registration form and 'Submit'. after that Login with your credential fillup the Application form.

Before online application, registration keeps the following documents ready to upload online:

  • Colour photo passport size.
  • HSSLC Marksheet and HSLC admit card for age proof.
  • Degree Marksheet and Certificate.
  • D.El.Ed/B.Ed Marksheet and Certificate.
  • Cast Certificate.
  • NCC and Sports/Cultural National level certicates if any.
  • Certificate andMarksheet of Assam TET/BTC TET.
  • BTC Residential certificate from the concern authority.
  • Teaching Experiences.
  • Scanned own signature.
Last Date of Registration of Online Application: 12th August 2021.
