If you have lost or damage this important document government has given you an online facility to download e-PAN from the income tax official website www.incometax.gov.in or TIN-NSDL or UTIITSL websites. It will depend on where your original PAN was issued. Without any tension for the lost/damaged and not visiting the PAN center, you can download it in .pdf format from online within a few minutes.

How to apply for a duplicate PAN card online ?

How to download your lost/damaged PAN card online?

1. Click on the link  https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal.

2. Go to the bottom of ' our Services' and click on "Show more" tab.

3. Click on ‘Instant e-PAN’.

4. Click on ‘Get New e-PAN’.

5. Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.

6. Click on the ‘I confirm that’ check box to accept the terms and conditions.

7.  Click on the ' Continue' tab.

8. OTP will come on your registered mobile number. Put the OTP from the message box of the registered mobile number.

9. Click on ‘Submit’.

10. Now e-PAN will be sent to your registered email id in .pdf  format. From here download the e-PAN and take a printout.

2. Select the PAN (the circle near PAN)

3. Put PAN number, Aadhaar number and month of birth, year of birth.

4. Select the terms and conditions square box.

5. Put Captcha

6. Click 'Submit'

7. Click on the box near the 'Mobile Number'.

8.  Select the terms and conditions box.

9. Click on 'Generate OTP'.

10. Check the message in the registered mobile number for OTP.

11. Put the OTP and Submit.

Download the e-PAN from email and take a printout.

If a registered mobile number/email is not available then go for a change to register for OTP.

NOTE: Who have availed this facility earlier, then 8.26 rupees have to be paid to get e-PAN.
