Jonaki Times: A nationwide recruitment notification has been published by the Indian Air Force to fill up vacant posts in various Air Force Stations located in different parts of India. Applications are invited from the interested eligible candidates in offline mode only. The applicants can submit applications at the Air Force Station of their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications within 30 days from the publication of the advertisement.

Age Limit:  18 to 25 years. Age relaxation as per govt norms.

Education Qualifications:
  • Superintendent (Store) and Storekeeper:   Graduate from a recognized university/institution. Experience is desirable in handling store and store account keeping.
  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Hindi Typist: 12th pass from a recognized board/institution. A minimum typing speed of 35 wpm in English and 30 in Hindi on the Computer is desirable.
  • Civilian Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade): Matriculation or equivalent with valid light and heavy vehicle professional driving license. Two years of experience is required in moto mechanism and driving.
  • Cook (Ordinary Grade): 10th passed from recognized Board/Institution with a Catering certificate and 1-year of working experience in the trade.
  • Painter (Skilled), CopperSmith and Sheet Metal Worker (Skilled), Fitter (SK), Carpenter (Skilled), Tailor (Skilled): 10th passed from recognized board and ITI certificate in respective trade or ex-serviceman in the relevant trade.
  • A/C Mech & A/C Mech (A): 10th passed from a recognized institution with an Aircraft Mechanic certificate and 1year of working experience in the relevant field.
  • House Keeping Staff (HKS): 10th passed or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Laundryman: Matriculation from a recognized board with one experience as Dhobi.
  • Mess Staff: Matriculation from recognized board/university with 1-year experience as waiter or washer in recognized institutions.
  • Multitasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation from a recognized institution or board with 1-year experience as Watcher or Lascar or Gestetner Operator or Gardener from a recognized institution.
  • Tailor (Skilled): 10th passed from recognized institutions with ITI certificate in Tailoring from a recognized institution or Ex-serviceman in the respective trade.
  • Tradesman Mate (erstwhile labor or ammunition duties): Matriculation from recognized institution or ex-serviceman in appropriate trade.
Selection Process:

  • Call letters will be issued to all eligible candidates for written tests after scrutinizing the applications for age limit, qualification, documents, and certificates. 
  • All eligible candidates are bound to appear on the written test.
  • The written test will be on English Language, General Intelligence, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and trade-related.
  • All the Question Papers in the written test will be in English and Hindi.
How to Apply:
  • Eligible candidates can apply in any of the Air Force Stations in the list on notification subjected to vacancies and qualifications.
  • All supporting documents attached with the application must be self-attested.
  • Application form typed in English/Hindi with a self-attested recent passport photo.
  • A totally separate application for each applied post should be forwarded.
  • A self-addressed envelope affixing a postal stamp of Rs.10/- along with the application to be furnished. 
  • On the top of the envelope containing the application form should be clearly mentioned 'APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ............... AND CATAGORY .................... AGAINST ADVERTISEMENT NO. 03/2021/DR'
The last date of Application form submission is 30 days from the date of publication of official notification in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar of  07th to 13th August'2021.
