The candidate seeking to apply must register their names at the Employment Exchange. The selected for the recruitment may be made at the deputed headquarters in Guwahati or in various districts of Assam as well.



Name of the Post: Junior Assistant.


The number of posts: 25 nos.


Educational Qualification: 


Graduate in any stream from a recognized university. In addition, a minimum of six months of computer education diploma/certificate must be furnished. The candidate should have proficiency in a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, the concept of database, internet, e-mail, and typing in English/Assamese.


Age:


  • The candidate should not be below 21 years and not more than 38 years of age on 01.06.2021. 
  • The relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and Ex-servicemen is available as per norms.
  • Age will be calculated based on the certificate of matriculation test. 

Pay Allowances:


PB-2, 14000 - 49000, Grade pay-6200, and allowances to be as Assam govt rules.


Selection Method:


  • The applicants whose application forms are acceptable, have to appear for a written test.
  • The written test question pattern will be of 100 marks objective type multiple choice.
  • The question paper will cover the modules of General knowledge in national and international current affairs 60 marks, English language 20 marks, and arithmetic 20 marks. Read the Advertisement carefully for detailed information.
  • The written examination will be held at Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, and Silchar.
