Jonaki Times: The Director of Secondary Education, Assam released an advertisement to recruit 2272 numbers of Graduate Teachers and invite online applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacant posts of Graduate Teachers in Provincialised schools / Secondary schools in 21 districts of Assam. The mode of application is Online only.
The District-wise, Category wise, and Medium-wise posts details will be available online from 12:00 noon of 16-09-2021 on the official website https://madhyamik.assam.gov.in/.

Name of Posts: Graduate Teacher
The total number of posts: 2272 nos.
Subject-wise and Reservation category-wise vacancy details in the advertisement attached herewith. There will be reservations for the Economically Weaker Sections as per govt notification.
Pay Scale:
Rs.22,000/- to Rs.97,000/- and Grade pay Rs.11,800/-, Others allowances admissible per govt rule.
Age Limit:
General Catagory: 21 to 38 years.
OBC / MOBC: 21 to 41 years.
SC/ST: 21 to 43 years.
PWD: 21 to 48 years.
Ex-servicemen: up to 40 years.

Educational Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognised university/Institution.
- Must pass HS TET in concern cadre with 60% marks in each paper in the general category and 55% in other reserved categories.
- For Assamese, Bodo, Bengali, Hindi, English medium schools, candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent Examination with concern subject or from the concerned medium school.
- For MIL subjects candidates must have passed the HSLC examination in particular MIL subjects.
Selection Criteria:
- Read the 'Criteria of selection of Post Graduate Teachers' section in the advertisement.
- The candidates have to select the district, medium, and category at the time of application for which the application is submitted.
- Candidates must have to appear before the Selection Committee for the verification of the original document uploaded during the online application.
Documents to be uploaded:
The following colored scanned and the self-attested document will be required to upload in PDF format with the Online Application.
- Passport size photograph.
- Candidate's Scanned Signature.
- HSLC mark sheet and Admit card (for age proof).
- HSSLC mark sheet and certificate.
- Graduation Marksheet and Certificate.
- Post-Graduate Marksheet and Certificate.
- HS TET Marksheet and Certificate.
- B.Ed. Marksheet and Certificate.
- Caste Certificate.
- NCC Certificate.
- Experience Certificate of 15 years as a Graduate Teacher in Provincialised High / Higher secondary (if any).
After successful submission of the online application, take a printout of the application form and submit the same along with all the copies of the self-attested document uploaded with the online application in support of the candidature eligibility criteria to the Selection Committee.
After submission of the online application candidate will get a Unique Registration number against the submitted application and keep a printout of the number for future reference.
