Total Number of posts: 12 nos.


Pay and allowances: 20,000/- pm fixed.


Upper Age Limit:


  • UR: 40 years,
  • OBC/MOBC: 43 years,
  • SC/ST(P&H): 45 years,
  • PWD: 50 years.


Eligibility Criteria:


  • Must be Graduate / Post-Graduate / Doctorate in Law from any recognized university in India.
  • candidates practicing at the Bar or having professional experience will get preference.
  • Must have the valid registration number of Employment exchange for the state of Assam.


Selection Process:


  • In the first stage, Candidates must appear Objective type multiple choices are written examination for 120 marks of 2 hours duration on OMR sheets. The examination will cover English proficiency, General knowledge, General Aptitude, knowledge in law, and knowledge in the Assamese language respectively 30, 10, 10, 50, and 20 marks.
  • In the second stage: Viva voice/interview of 15 marks. three candidates will be called for each post based on their performance in the written examination.

 

How to apply:


  • Before apply online, candidates must have a valid e-mail ID and a mobile number for registration.
  • Click on 'New Registration' and provide the information required and click on 'Submit Registration'.
  • A Registration Code will display below the 'Submit Registration ' button, note it down for login purposes.
  • Log in with the registration button and date of birth.
  • Click on 'Update Candidate Details' and put the required data. Click 'Update Data' to save.
  • Upload scan image of passport photograph, Signature, and click on  'Submit Candidature' by selecting 'Declaration check box'.
  • After submission takes a printout of the Fee Payment hallan by clicking on "Print Fee Payment Challan Form".
  • made the payment in the SBI branch with two days of application registration and keep a candidate's copy of the challan carefully for future reference.
  • After two days take the printout of the payment to acknowledge receipt and application form generated by the system automatically for future reference. 



Application Fee:


  • Rs. 150/- for SC/ST(P)/ST(H)
  • Rs. 300/- for Others
  • NIL for PWD
