Pay Scale: Assistant Engineer,


Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- pm (PB-4) with Grade pay Rs. 12,000/- pm plus other allowances as per govt rule.


Pay Scale: Junior Engineer,


Rs.!4,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- pm (PB-2) with Grade Pay Rs.8,700/- pm plus other allowances as per govt rule.


Age Limit: Assistant Engineer,


21 years to 38 years as of 01-01-2021 and upper age relaxation as per govt norms.


Age Limit: Junior Engineer


18 years to 38 years as of 01-01-2021 and upper age relaxation as per govt norms.


Educational Qualifications:


For Assistant Engineer, B.E or Equivalent in Civil Engineering from govt. recognized institution/university and the candidates must be permanent residents of Assam with valid supporting documents.


For Junior Engineer, 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering for a Govt. recognized institution and must be residents of Assam with valid supporting documents.

Selection Procedure:


Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, the contactless selection of Candidates will be based on academic performance only.


For Assistant Engineer, the weightage of academic performance will be considered 10% from HSLC, 20% from HSSLC, and 70% from Degree in Civil Engineering.


For Junior Engineer, 20% from HSLC, and 80% from Diploma in Civil Engineering.


the candidates must fulfill the pre-requisite eligibility criteria as per advertisement during the screening, otherwise, the candidature will be rejected.


The categories of candidates who have no reservations must have to compete with the open category candidates.


EWS candidates must have to submit Income and Assets certificates of the family from the competent authority as mentioned in the advertisement.


All candidates must submit the Declaration in Format-A give with the advertisement with the online application.
