Name of Posts:  LDA and COPYIST


Total Posts:  237 (for District-wise breakup go through the advertisement). The number of posts may increase/decrease during the time of final selection.


Pay Scale: 


14,000/- 60,000/- with Grade Pay 6,200/- and other allowances as per rules.


Age Limit:


  • Unreserved category 18 years to 40 years.
  • OBC/MOBC 18 years to 43 years.
  • SC/ST 18 years to 45 years.
  • PWD 18 years to 50 years.


Eligibility Criteria:


  •  Any Graduate from a government-recognized university before the last date of online application.
  •  Must have a Computer certificate minimum of three(3) months duration.
  • The Applicant should have the knowledge of Assam State Govt. official Language (Assamese).
  • The applicant must have an Assam State Govt Employment Exchange Registration number.


Selection Process:


Step1. Common OMR-based objective questions with multiple choices of 120 marks written test of 2 hours duration.

General English 50 marks, General Knowledge with Computer Knowledge 30 marks, General Aptitude 20 marks.

Step2.  The official language of Assam Govt. (Assamese): 20 marks (which have to qualify, and qualifying marks shall be 40% marks i.e. 8 marks). But marks obtained in the Assamese Language will not be counted in preparing the merit list of written tests as well as the final merit list.

Step3. The candidate will be called 3 candidates against 1 vacant post of a particular district from the rank-wise final written test for 15 marks viva voce. On the basis of the written and viva-voce grand total marks, district wise the final selection will be made.
