LP & UP Teachers Recruitment, Director of Elementary Education, Assam.


Total Posts: 9354

7242 in LP and 2112 in UP


Age Limit:

  • 18 years to 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-servicemen, 43 years for OBC/MOBC, 45 yeats for SC/ST, and 50 years for PWD candidates as of 1st January 2021.
  • There will be reservation of vacancies for women candidates as per govt rule.


Condition of Recruitment:


  • Candidates who have passed ATET will be eligible to apply for the posts and the candidates who will appear and pass the TET to be conducted in October 2021, will also be eligible to apply after the declaration of result.
  • The Language-I of ATET of the candidate shall match the medium of instruction, in which school the candidate wants to submit the application. For example, if a candidate wishes to use a selected medium school, the candidate must have that specific Language-I within the ATET. i.e. for BODO/ Garo/Bengali/Manipuri/ Hindi/Hmar, etc. school, the candidate must have Bodo/Garo /Bengali/Manipuri/Hindi/ Hmar, etc. as Language-I in ATET conducted by education Department, Assam.
  • The Merit list is going to be separate for every district and category.
  • No candidate having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 shall be eligible as per govt. policy on small family norms.
  • Candidates shall have to submit the declaration at the time of online application as per provision contained in Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17 dated 06/11/2019 and No. ABP.69/2019/18 dated 16/11/2019. The candidate shall be filled up and signed the required declaration during the online application.
  • The LP School regular teachers are not allowed to apply in any post of LP school and the UP regular teachers are not allowed to apply in any post of UP schools. however, only LP teachers, if eligible may apply in UP Schools through the proper channels.
  • A candidate can submit for only one post in one district.

Pay Scale: (LP & UP):


Pay Band-2, @ Rs.14,000/- to 60,500/- plus other allowances as per govt rule.


Educational Qualifications: (LP)


  • 10+2 with 50% marks and Two years Diplom in Elementary Education from a recognized institution.

or,

  • 10+2 with 45% marks and Two years of Elementary Education as per norms and procedure laid down by NCTE, Regulations 2002.

or

  • 10+2 with 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education.

or

  • 10+2 with 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in special education.

AND

  • Passed in Assam LP TET conducted by DEE, Assam..


Educational Qualifications: (UP)


Assistant Teacher(UPS):


  • Graduate with 2 years D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. or D.Ed.(Special Education) or B.Ed.(Special Education) for recognized university/institution.
  • Passed in Assam UP TET conducted by DEE, Assam.

Science Teacher(UPS):


  • B.Sc. with 2 years D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. or D.Ed.(Special Education) or B.Ed.(Special Education) from a recognized university/institution.
  • Passed in Assam UP TET conducted by DEE, Assam.

Assamese Language Teacher(UPS):


  • TDC having Assamese as one of the subjects and 2 years D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. or D.Ed.(Special Edu.) or B.Ed.(Special Edu.) from a recognized university/institution.
  • Passed in Assam UP TET conducted by DEE, Assam.

Manipuri Language Teacher(UPS):

  • TDC having Manipuri as one of the subjects and 2 years D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. or D.Ed.(Special Education) or B.Ed.(Special Education) from a recognized university/institution.
  • Passed in Assam UP TET conducted by DEE, Assam.



Selection Process:


The selection of candidates will strictly be on a merit basis considering the reservations as per the marking pattern mentioned in the advertisement.

After submission of the online application, the candidate will get a Unique Number against the submitted application and take a printout of it for future reference.
